Payment processing

Low rates.
Fast funding.
Hardware that does not cost you a register drawer.

Most merchants are paying for a rate they were quoted years ago and a terminal they have already bought twice. Send us your last three monthly statements and we will show you the line items in plain language.

What you are actually buying

Low rates, shown plainly

Interchange-plus pricing available, so you can see the wholesale cost and our margin as separate numbers instead of one blended rate.

  • Line-item statement review
  • No long-term contract required
  • Surcharge and cash-discount programs where permitted

Fast funding

Next-business-day deposits as standard, with same-day funding available on qualifying accounts and batch times.

  • Set your own batch cutoff
  • Deposits matched to batches, not lumped together
  • Weekend and holiday schedules in writing

Low to no cost terminals

Countertop, wireless, and mobile card readers placed at no cost on qualifying accounts, or at low cost outright if you would rather own the hardware.

  • Tap, chip, swipe, and mobile wallets
  • Wireless units for patios and markets
  • Replacement units shipped, not billed

How processors price you

Three models cover almost every statement we see. Knowing which one you are on explains most of what you are paying.

Pricing models compared
ModelHow it worksWho it suits
Interchange-plus You pay the card network's published wholesale cost, plus a fixed markup that is stated separately on every statement. Most established retail and restaurant accounts. The markup is visible, so it can be checked and negotiated.
Tiered Transactions are sorted into qualified, mid-qualified, and non-qualified buckets, each with its own rate. The processor decides the sorting. Rarely the cheaper option. This is where surprise downgrades on rewards cards usually hide.
Flat rate One published rate on every transaction regardless of card type. Very low volume or highly seasonal businesses. Simple, and usually expensive above roughly $15,000 a month.

Which model you are on is printed on your statements, though not always in those words. If you cannot tell, send them over and we will identify it for you.

Switching, step by step

Most single-location accounts are live within a few business days.

  1. Send three months of statements

All pages of your three most recent monthly statements. Three months shows your true card mix, seasonal swings, and every fee being charged — one month on its own can be unrepresentative and produce a quote that does not hold.

  2. Get a written comparison

Within one to three business days we return your current effective rate, our proposed rate, and the difference in dollars. Nothing verbal, nothing to decode.

  3. Application and underwriting

A short application and standard underwriting review. We tell you what documents are needed before you start, not halfway through.

  4. Install around your hours

Hardware swap and POS configuration scheduled to miss service. For restaurants that usually means between lunch and dinner.

  5. First batch and follow-up

We watch the first settlement with you and confirm the deposit landed as promised. Then you have a direct number for anything after.

Questions merchants ask first

How long does switching take?

Most single-location accounts are approved and installed within a few business days of a completed application. We schedule the hardware swap around your hours, not ours.

What does the terminal actually cost?

On qualifying accounts, placement is at no cost for as long as you process with us. If you would rather own your hardware outright, we will quote the purchase price directly. We tell you which applies before you sign anything.

When does the money hit my account?

Next business day is standard, based on your batch cutoff time. Same-day funding is available on qualifying accounts. Your funding schedule, including weekends and holidays, is stated in your agreement.

Can I keep my current POS?

Often yes. Many popular retail and restaurant systems support multiple processors. Tell us what you are running and we will confirm compatibility before recommending a change.

Do you handle tips and split checks?

Yes. Restaurant configurations include tip adjustment, tip pooling and payout reporting, check splitting by seat or item, and coursing.

What about chargebacks?

You get a named contact for disputes, notification when one is filed, and help assembling the response documents. We will also review your receipt and refund practices, since most avoidable chargebacks start there.

What do you need to quote me?

Your three most recent processing statements, all pages. We return a written comparison — no site visit required.

Free statement review

Send us three months of statements.
We will show you the difference.

Three months gives us your real card mix and seasonality, so the comparison is accurate rather than a guess. No cost, no site visit, no obligation to switch.
